A recent case in North Carloina was in Alamance County. 18 year old teen Robert Bishop became the first to be put in jail under the new North Carolina's cyber bullying law. This case goes back more than two years when the vitim Kelley was in high school.
According to court documents, Bishop and four other students took to the internet and started bullying Kelley on Facebook. The pictures they posted was photoshopped and too graphic to describe. Bishop is appealing the conviction. But, for now, he's been sentenced to four years of probation including supervision by a probation officer and staying away from social media for a year. |
